I went on a one-man date and i think it wasn’t that bad at all, although it sucked that i was the only human rollin solo on the street

I first made a trip to UP Diliman because although i did invite my friends i did so at the last minute, and the uni of my dreams was the first thing that popped into my mind because laksjfklasdjf i don’t know. I spent my time there craving for pistachio ice cream but i was not able to have some since i was not very willing to spend the last bit of my allowance on anything—my mum didn’t give me additional baon for tonight’s run and i think that’s okay since i’ve already made her pay for the the run’s registration fee

I then decided that i’d drop by the legendary Maginhawa Street, so i took a jeepney ride to C.P. Garcia’s butt end and walked the smoke-ridden suburban until i thought i was lost. I really thought i was. Suddenly a street sign proclaiming that i’ve reached my destination materialized in front of me and boy was i glad that it did huhu

Maginhawa Street probably is the yummiest-smelling street i’ve ever strolled on. Everywhere i looked there were restaurants and coffee shops and grills and milk tea houses. I didn’t know exactly why i went there, but since i was not in the mood to eat, i decided to look for this legendary bookstore that sells pre-loved reads—Bookay Ukay. I hiked the length of Maginhawa Street three times—i am one to overflow with diligence when it comes to bargain shit kasi sorry naman ha. Finally, i gave up treasure hunting on my own, so i asked for the help of some tricycle drivers. Turns out dalawang beses ko na pala nadaanan yung shop. Sarado lang

So anyway

I’ve recently gained lots of weight, but i’ve made a decision to binge out of frustration. So i came upon this restaurant that offers healthy and affordable chows—Fresh Selections

I had an order of fresh lumpia and a glass of freshly brewed iced tea. I do not know a lot about tea, but if by freshly brewed they meant a non-opaque yellow liquid and a cannot-be-diluted-by-water sweetness, then i think they’re doing a great job. The fresh lumpia is so plump that the wrapper was almost not able to hold it in. It was a deviation from the usual fresh lumpia—this one had tofu and rice crisps and non-sweet sugar (what???) in it. I swear it’s the yummiest fresh lumpia i’ve had by far, i swear! Tapos i only had to pay P90 for the whole deal hihi victory!

Since i had no money to go deli-hopping that afternoon, i decided to go naman to Robinsons Magnolia since everybody stopped talking about it already. All i can say is that it is a mall for laking-aircon couples only. It’s small, but the shops carry the usual Ayala Mall vibe. The best askdfjasldks about it i think are

I decided to go to UST since i was to meet up with Char and her friends there, but since i went a little too early, i had snacks at KFC Dapitan first. And for the first time i did not get lost. Wow

Still frustrated, i pre-forgave myself to violate my pescetarian diet. And so i had chicken. Tapos lalo pa akong na-frustrate. Wow ulit

I then met up with Char and she introduced me to her friends, tapos we went to BGC na for the run

One-man dates are sad. People should enjoy stuff with people
